Information
USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports are standard connection devices found on all computers these days. To get the most out of them, you may need a converter, extension lead or, if you are running out of sockets, a hub.
A converter lets you plug a USB mouse or keyboard into the round PS2 connection on your computer. This would be useful if you have run out of USB ports and want to replace you current mouse or keyboard.
An extension lead lets you extend the distance from your computer that you can use your USB device.
A USB hub gives you extra ports that you can plug USB devices into. This is especially useful if you have an older computer with few USB ports and want to use, for example, a printer, broadband, a scanner and a roller ball at the same time.
