Pointing devices
A pointing device is anything that will move the pointer on the screen. This includes mice, roller balls, joysticks and head pointers. A mouse demands more control than other devices, usually entailing the use of buttons to perform tasks such as dragging and double-clicking, which makes it hard for people with limited strength or motor control. There are various ways of overcoming this problem using alternative pointing devices.
