  3. Installing and using Nero - CD and DVD writing software which comes with our PCs but needs installing.
  4. Installing and using Adobe Reader - needed to read the documents on this page!
  5. Installing and using AVG anti virus - free anti virus software.
  6. Installing and using AdAware SE - free software to help with spyware and other internet nasties not caught by anti virus software.
  7. Installing and using e-backup - software to help you simply back up your computer.
  8. Installing and using Open office - a fully functioning Office suite.
