Information

These games are aimed at people with learning difficulties and/or those with little reading ability, but they are suitable for young children as well.

The software has large, colourful animations which are designed with the visually impaired in mind, but which can be fun for all.

Interactive story pages help to develop decision making and life skills. Stories in Let's Go To Town include catching the bus, using a pelican crossing, shopping at a fruit stall and visiting a pet shop. There is also a Let's Go To the Seaside game.

The simple written instructions help develop reading skills, and the interaction on each page is intentionally limited. You can learn to scan, using one or two switches, or simply click on items to progress through the activities.

These games are very simple and have on-screen instructions, which mean that they can be played with little parental supervision.

The Let's Go To... series can be used if you have physical disabilities, as they can be used with a mouse, keyboard, touch screen or switches. They are also compatible with a range of keyboards, such as IntelliKeys.
