I find it quite useful at school. Just being able to speak and it is then written. I use it quite a lot. Without it I would need a lot more help typing.
Information
Dragon Naturally Speaking allows you to use your voice to browse web pages, type documents and even move the mouse around the screen. It is a great piece of software for anyone who has limited use of their hands and fingers. Dragon is easy to install and setup, and is the perfect choice for anybody who finds it hard to type or use a mouse. It is incredibly accurate and includes multiple user settings.
Dragon is not suitable for use in noisy environments.
It will not work very well if your voice is weak or inconsistent.

She finds it very useful. Sometimes she uses it a lot and sometimes not a lot. Because of her disability it helps when she types in and it prints it off. I think it's been a great help in her work and will be great when she does her GCSEs. It's useful for people with disabilities. My husband has the same and he also uses it.

With that I can dictate into Dragon lots of text and it's been a great help.

It's helped but it is still not perfect. It is slightly frustrating and it sometimes seems like a lot of work. The fact that I don't have to use my arms is probably the best thing about it because I'm not able to write, so being able to dictate is good. It makes some tasks possible where they wouldn't be before. I probably only use it once a month because I try to type as sometimes when I've dictated I have to go back through it to change the mistakes it's made. I'd recommend it to people whose conditions are stable. If your voice changes it goes wrong.
I still think it's a very good program.
