Information

Chip Speaking allows users to record their voice as it is now, and preserve the phrases and sentences that are needed in everyday life, and recall them in their own voice, and save that speech indefinitely. The recordings are made and saved to disk in small files, which can be saved on diskette or backup media for use on other computers.

It would be a very useful piece of software for someone who is unable to speak but can use a computer. By recording short phrases that are often needed it can easily play these recordings back. It would be best to use this on a mobile laptop computer allowing the user to answer everyday questions or ask for everyday items.
