BigKeys LX Keyboard and Keyguards

The BigKeys LX keyboard uses keys that are an inch in size, and do not repeat when held down. To simplify its use, some non-essential keys have been removed, reducing the number of keys on the keyboard to 60. The BigKeys LX is available in a wide range of colour options: White: white keys with with black text (upper or lower case) Multi-colour: blue, yellow, red, green and white keys with black text (upper or lower case) High contrast: black keys with white text (upper or lower case) The keys themselves are available in either Abc (alphabetical) or Qwerty (similar to a standard keyboard or typewriter) format, and can be either upper or lowercase (please note that the high contrast keyboard is available in Qwerty and uppercase only). As an example, the above image uses the multi-colour design, with lowercase Qwerty keys.

The BigKeys LX Keyguard allows better control of a BigKeys LX keyboard by making it easier to press just one key due to the sunken nature of the keys, and also allows users to rest their hand on the keyboard without entering any keystrokes, making it useful for people for whom muscle fatigue is an issue. It is available in either metal or plastic. Prices, including VAT, are £60 for a metal guard, or £71 for a clear plastic one. Also available is the BigKeys LX Glove, which covers and protects both the keys and the gaps between them from dust, dirt, liquid spillages and other forms of contaminations. It is possible for a keyguard to be placed over a glove to both improve control and protect the keys.
